Pelayo: Más Allá Del Límite
An immersive, three-episode docuseries narrated in the first person by Pelayo Gayol, revealing the darkest side of drug trafficking, not as a distant phenomenon, but as a global system that transforms violence into a business. It's a journey of no return to the heart of a silent war where looking the other way is no longer an option. Gayol leaves his role as an instructor to try to understand the roots of the conflict from the frontlines.

Pelayo has devoted his life to fighting drug trafficking in Spain. Now he has decided to follow its trail to understand its origin. His first stop is Buenaventura, a key port in Colombia where armed groups dispute the drug trafficking routes. There, with the army, he will see how drugs condition the lives of the population and that fighting them is an act of resistance and hope.
Pelayo heads out into the Colombian Pacific, where the immensity of the ocean and the river jungles hide the lethal routes of drug trafficking. Along with elite soldiers, he is a firsthand witness to chases on the high seas and patrols on rivers littered with mines, facing an invisible and mortal enemy. The war has just begun. Danger lurks in every shadow.
Pelayo heads into the Cauca Valley, Colombia's cocaine epicentre, where he accompanies the Third Army in recovering El Plateado, a strategic spot. The war changes in this place: drones and mines feature in the combat, and the line between enemy and victim is blurred. There, he learns that this struggle is interminable and that evil has many faces.
