Boer Soek 'n Vrou
Boer Soek 'n Vrou is a reality program based on the international series "Farmer Wants A Wife". The farmers for the program are selected from hundreds of applications and then introduced to the public in a special program on KykNET earlier in the year. Singles then get the chance to send a romantic love letter to the farmer of their choice. Based on the letters that the farmers receive, they choose 10 potential life partners that they would like to get to know better on the program.

Ten single farmers are looking for matches! This well-known reality series, presented by Marciel Hopkins (for the last time!), follows ten farmers' search for love.
Marciel is on her way to deliver the ten farmers' letters. Within 24 hours, the five farmers with the most letters must choose ten ladies to meet in Cape Town.
The matchmakers come from across the country for a short but powerful introduction to the farmer of their choice. Everyone gets exactly five minutes to chat with their farmer, after which five are chosen.
Today, our farmers get a little more time to get to know their five matches better. Each farmer must choose three matchmakers who will visit the farm for a week. And who knows... Maybe one of them is "The One".
The ladies arrive at the farms. They are going to live and work with the farmer for a week, and see if love can blossom between one of the couples.
The farmers take the ladies on an adventure away from the farm to see if relationships can grow. And then startling news catches the farmers off guard.
Marciel sends the ladies on their own adventure while the farmers reflect on the past few days, because soon difficult choices must be made.
After a few days on the farm, one of the three ladies has to go home. Tempers run high when certain truths are exposed. Who will the farmer ask to stay?
There are now only two ladies left on the farm. The farmers also invite friends and family over for a braai so they can meet the ladies and form their opinion.
This is the last full day on the farm. The tension is running high, because every farmer will soon have to make a choice again. Everyone gets time to talk to each other individually.
